Signing the Corporate Image
You may not immediately recognize Signs by Crannie’s work but it is all over the place! In Flint, across Genesee County, throughout Michigan, parts of the United States, and even overseas! This Flint Township based company has grown significantly over the years , providing signage for so many local businesses and national corporate buildings. Dan Crannie asked H2A to be part of his business expansion by providing design work for their new facility. Crannie purchased an existing 50,000 sf warehouse to renovate into his new offices, design studio, and sign manufacturing facility for his talented staff of designers, artists, and craftsmen.
To help establish their corporate identity, H2A worked with Crannie to create a new entrance tower that also include space to show off Dan’s vintage pickup truck.
In addition to the new entry tower, the front offices were reconfigured, new sales and design offices were added, and new technicians locker rooms were also added. The remainder of the building was reconfigured to create assembly areas, painting booths, materials storage, small workrooms, and drive-in bays for application of vehicle-sized decals.
Signs by Crannie even produced the metal panels to give the entry tower a distinct and bold look.
The interiors took on a decidedly modern, high-tech look.
Friends, family, and local dignitaries help celebrate the grand opening of the new Signs by Crannie building in Flint Twp.
