Project Architect

Role description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Architect/Project Manager at H2A Architects, Inc. located in Davison, MI. The Project Architect/Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with managing architecture projects, interacting with clients, design, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration. The role requires strong leadership skills and knowledge of historic preservation, sustainability or (LEED) principles is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience with architecture and project management

  • Registered Architect, Licensed in the State of Michigan

  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit, and other Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of (LEED) principles is a plus

  • Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture

  • Design, graphics and construction document knowledge and skills

  • NCARB certificate is desired. Applicants who are working towards the NCARB certificate are also encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of traveling to and from project sites for attending client, project and construction meetings.

  • Ability to access existing and new project sites for observation, investigation and evaluation purposes.

  • Ability to use equipment for communication and documentation purposes.

  • Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.

  • Salary will vary based on experience and work ethic.
